The rapper and producer dropped part 2 to his DUALITY series earlier this month. But is it good?

SPOTLIGHTS - 6.5/10

with JAA Strike & AstroTheKidd, feat. kxlldev

I feel like there's too much happening in this song. Chaotic beats can work sometimes, but it feels cluttered with the vocals here. As a producer myself, I learned that you've gotta give some space for the artist to do their thing.

The first guy's mixing is definitely contributing to this problem.

For a positive, I like the EDM interlude and dev's verse at the end.

MADE OF IMPERFECTIONS - 7/10

with nrvna & Fixtation

I like this beat a lot.

nrvna's flow on his verse seems off sometimes

Fixtation's verse is okay, but it felt a bit dragged out at points.

MISTAKES (4 SHO) - 7/10

with Jaru!

Nothing much to say about this song.

Jaru did good, and the beat's good too.

DUALITY N CHILL - 6.8/10

with A-Train

One thing I'm noticing throughout these songs is that the mix is clipping just a bit.

It's probably just a BandLab thing, but there is a mastering feature that removes it.

As for the song, I feel the same way about this one as the last.

GRADUATION - 5.5/10

Not really feeling this one, mainly due to SHY's performance on it.

The beat's okay.

PUNK! - 6/10

The mixing on this one is not as good as the rest. trnd's vocals are a bit quiet during the chorus.

If you've seen the SWAG 2 review, you know how I feel about trnd as a rapper.

The song picks up at the second half, going into a more jersey club-esque dance section before going back to the original beat.

If there's one thing I hate, it's when a vocal's delay isn't synced to the BPM.

I really like this one. THIS might be the best one on here.

Huey compliments the beat well, as his whole thing is these type of beats.

He has been hopping on more modern beats, though, such as those by 15drtt.

The bass on here is overlapping with the guitar, and that never sounds pleasing.

Astro did what he needed to do on this beat.

I was questioning why this song was 5 minutes at first...

The second half is way better than the first.

The last guy sounds like KD! to me. Anyone else hear it too?

TAKE IT SLOW - 7/10

One thing I've noticed about A-Train is that sometimes he tries to fit as many words as he can into a bar. Either that, or he stretches out words for a bit too long.

Geno on the hook is cool, he did his thing.

NO MORE CHANCES - 7.2/10

Hatsune Miku sample?!

BandLab's Universal mastering thing makes some songs sound worse than they need to be.

(Every time Jaru! makes a kuh or ah sound, the audio ducks.)

CAMILA's part is nice, but the drop is CRAZY!!!!!!!

DUOLOGY (OUTRO) - 6.8/10

Overall, this was a fun listen. Not too many bad things to say about it, other than a few mixing problems and disliking some of the guest appearances on here.
